Hull Rupture Demo Progress: What Carries Over to the Full Game
Check the two demo carryover exceptions, artifact resets, the disabled trial and the building and Endless changes in the November 4 release.
What should a returning demo player expect?
Hull Rupture’s full game released on November 4, 2026. The developer disabled the older demo before launch because it no longer represented the release. Reinstalling the trial or looking for its old download button is not the next step for continuing.
Use the demo return checker for a result based on your previous tutorial and Trade Mode progress. The rules below come from Konfa Games’ November 2 launch FAQ.
Which progress should carry over?
| Your demo progress | Announced full-game result |
|---|---|
| Tutorial completed | You should not have to complete it again |
| Trade Mode unlocked | Trade should already be available |
| Artifacts unlocked | Unlock them again under the final conditions |
| Other demo progress | Do not expect it to transfer; only the two exceptions above were promised |
This is a carryover policy, not a manual save-conversion procedure. The announcement does not instruct you to copy files, delete a profile or start overwriting saves. If an expected exception is missing, preserve the existing data and report the mismatch through the official discussion area.
State whether you mean completed tutorial or unlocked Trade Mode, when you played the demo, and what the full game actually shows. A missing artifact is expected under the published policy; an absent promised exception needs a different investigation.
Why do familiar artifacts look wrong?
The full release changes artifact names and icons. An icon you remember can now belong to a different artifact, so matching pictures from an old screenshot is unreliable. Read the current name and effect before making a build decision.
The developer also explains why artifact unlocks reset: the demo did not contain their final unlock conditions. See artifacts and modifiers for the distinction between a run-wide collectible and a module upgrade.
Which old building and mode habits should you drop?
Two release changes matter immediately:
- Modules can use any empty module slot. A completed neighboring module is no longer a prerequisite. The different visual designs on empty hull blocks do not change that rule.
- Endless is separate from Classic. It no longer starts automatically when you complete a Classic run.
These changes do not remove every building constraint. Module footprints, kits and resources still matter, while the hull itself has separate placement rules. Read Hull Construction before committing a permanent extension, and modes and ships before planning a longer run.
What can you do if you never finished the demo?
Begin with the full game’s available starting ship and Classic Mode. Do not follow an outdated checklist telling you to complete new demo prerequisites now that the trial is disabled. The launch FAQ says additional ships and modes unlock through progression, but it does not provide every unlock threshold.
If your immediate goal is a specific achievement, check the official-condition planner first. A requirement tied to another mode or a difficulty above Easy can change which run you should attempt.
Which sources establish these rules?
- Konfa Games: November 2 launch FAQ, demo closure, carryover and release changes.
- Official November 4 release announcement.
- Developer reply explaining why the demo was disabled.
